Submitting Content

When creating content/translations, in addition to providing the text + images, the following meta data should be added:

- the input format of the content (HTML, stripped HTML, PHP, etc.): By default the input format is set to 'Safe HTML' which allows for most commonly used HTML tags.

- the URL alias: A descriptive URL, e.g. alias http://site/fr/products/factsheet will subsitute http://site/node/34. For this FreeNAC configuration, the context menus rely on the URL pattern and the 'Products' menu is only displayed on pages with the */products/* URL.

- the menu entry: The menu entry does not always stick, due to a known i18n module issue. If this happens, add the menu entry by navigating to admin >> menus >> add entry

- comments: comments may be enabled/disabled for each node by selecting an option under the Comment Settings

- n.b. translations: the URL aliases and menu entries have to be manually entered for translations, i.e. an existing node en/widget will not be found at fr/widget when a translation is created, unless that URL alias is specifically entered.
